Urban Agriculture

Urban AgricultureWhether it’s on a parking strip, home garden, vacant city lot or at a local school, more and more people are getting their hands into the dirt and growing their own food. It’s been called by some a “quiet revolution” and for others it harkens back to WW II-era “Victory Gardens” but really there is no more intimate connection to the land than to grow your own food. Hunger experts and urban planners are also looking at urban agriculture as a key to community food security.
